Fun IQ Toys Inc. was founded in 2005 and formally re-launched in November 2008 by Ana Maria Echeverri. Ana Maria Echeverri is a mother of three, a Systems Engineer, and an MBA. After spending 19 years in the High Tech industry working for companies such as Informix, IBM, Microsoft, and Citrix Systems; she decided to leverage her passion for learning, and to follow her dreams helping children discover and develop their multiple talents. Since children learn best through play, educational toys was a natural way to reach that goal. And Howard Gardner's Theory of Multiple Intelligences provided just the right framework to structure product categories focused on the discovery and development of Multiple Intelligences. In November 2010, Fun IQ Toys moved from Miramar, FL to Cary, NC.

At Fun IQ Toys Inc., we offer toys that expose children to activities that nurture their innate verbal, numerical, spatial, science, musical, body, self, and inter-personal skills. Additionally we focus on the availability of smart toys for girls - a need that every parent of girls may recognize, as although the role of women in society has changed significantly in the past 50 years, toys developed for girls have been slow to adapt to reflect that change.
